In the basement of the castle Gomorronsol, Laban lives with his mother and father Spöke and his daring little sister Labolina, who can imitate all the sounds in the world. The castle also houses people: the king and queen, as well as Princess Busan and little prince Bus, who are Laban's very best friends.

Dolores and Gunellen live together in a house with a small garden. They need each other to balance their lives. Taking care of a little bat isn't so easy; no matter what they do, the little creature doesn't look very happy. But then they come up with something they have to try, even though it means staying out in the middle of the night.

Rita is a small and very determined girl who has a very hungry friend, Crocodile, who lives in the bathtub. Most probably, Crocodile only exists in Rita's imagination, but this is Rita's world and Crocodile is a real part of it.

Little Anna and Tall Uncle are going to watch a movie. She wants to see her five favorite movies with the ghost Laban and his friends. Tall Uncle is afraid of ghosts and doesn't dare to watch the movies even though Little Anna says they aren't scary. Tall Uncle finally understands that the movies aren't scary and then dares to go see them.
