A timid 18-year-old from inner-city Dublin prepares for her boyfriend's debs (Ireland's version of the prom), but her social anxieties and struggles with her mother’s alcoholism make life difficult.

Two estranged brothers with chequered childhoods in the care system suddenly find themselves living under the same roof. They must now reconcile with their pasts and make decisions about the future.

As his parents separate, a young boy on the cusp of adolescence develops an unrealistic crush on an older teenage girl in his Taekwondo class but soon finds out that no matter what age you are, love can sometimes hurt.
