The film explores the “acute suffering” and transcendent glory experienced by current and former members of King Crimson, allowing the audience an intimate and sometimes uncomfortable insight into the musicians’ experience as they confront life and death head on in the world’s most demanding rock band.

Limited CD/Blu-Ray edition. Fragile is the fourth in a series of remixed and expanded Yes Classics. The album has been mixed for 5. 1 Surround Sound from the original multi track studio masters by Steven Wilson and is fully approved by Yes. The CD features a completely new stereo album mix by Wilson plus six additional tracks and four newly mixed from multi-track We Have Heaven (full mix), South Side of the Sky (early version), All Fighters Past (previously unreleased), We Have Heaven (A-capella) mixed by SW + Roundabout (rehearsal take/early mix) and Mood for Another Day (alternate take of Mood for a Day ). Blu-ray (All region) features 5. 1 PCM Surround Sound and High Resolution Stereo mixes (24bit/96khz) and in DTS-HD MA 5. 1 (24bit/96khz). Blu-ray also features the original album mix in a hi res flat transfer from the original stereo master tape source (24bit/192khz). Also features the six additional tracks. Exclusive features include full album instrumental mixes by Steven Wilson.

Released on November 11th 2013 on Panegyric Recordings, ‘Close to the Edge’ will be the first in a new series of expanded YES editions. In keeping with earlier releases in this series, Steven Wilson’s approach to this album for new stereo & 5.1 mixes is to faithfully retain the spirit & sounds of the original album mix, while applying modern mix techniques to bring further clarity to the individual instrument, vocal & overdubs for each track. The songs, instantly familiar to a multitude of Yes fans, remain so, with the new mixes – especially in 5.1 form – providing a greater sense of space for each voice to be heard, Anderson’s voice seems to join the listener in the room, Howe & Wakeman’s solos glisten with clarity & Bruford/Squire remind all that they were unmatched as a rhythm section during that period.

A film largely from the backstage of Yes' Union tour. The concert footage is interspersed with a narrative of Yes' history, told in the words of various band members. (Everyone but Banks, Moraz, Horn and Downes are present). As a reunion show, it's a strange affair, as you get to see the different configurations of Yes (Kaye and Wakeman, Rabin and Howe, White and Bruford) interacting with each other. Still, the emphasis is on the individuals themselves, and there are plenty of good stories here.

While a return of King Crimson had been planned as early as 1990, it was only in 1992 that the idea of a double trio line-up emerged as the ideal and it took until 1994 to get all the necessary musicians and plans sufficiently in place. The new band recorded the mini album “VROOOM” in the Spring of 1994 and, following further rehearsals in the summer and early autumn, performed a series of concerts in Argentina, including a run of shows at Teatro Broadway, Buenos Aires in October.
