Two spirits encounter each other in a limbo – a place between the earthly and the beyond. The two spirits are still trapped in their human shells, but have already lost the ability to speak. They will only spend a few days in limbo, before a wandering light leads them to the next world.

In a hidden corner of the Swiss Alps, a man and his son, Benny, enjoy a vacation away from the distractions of modern life. After several days of connecting with nature and learning the trade of self-sufficiency, Benny understands that the holidays are extended for no reason and that his father has no intention of returning him to his mother, much less to civilization.

Dennis and his filmmaker friend decide to join his parents in Tuscany where they are spending the summer holiday. Dennis is not in the best of moods. His past and his choices seem to loom over him, to haunt him even in the golden and warm sun of Tuscany. His friend tries to unlock his silences, unsuccessfully. Dennis seems to be hurting. Only skating feels a bit like a momentary peace of mind. His parents do not ask, and Dennis does not tell.

In unspectacular everyday scenes we observe three groups, their dynamics and moods over the course of a day.

After more than twenty years, Swiss musician Dino Brandão travels to Angola to give a concert in his father's home country. Confronted with his family's past and questions about his own identity, Dino is triggered into a manic episode.

Residents of a flat share discuss the purchase of a new vacuum cleaner. A genuine film about group dynamics, daily living together and democracy, in which banality, poetry and humour are mixed.

It's 10:47 pm on a bus somewhere in a city. A few teenagers are listening to music and talking loudly. The other passengers look languidly out the window or at their cell phones. A drunk man gets in and joins the teenagers; the mood starts to shift.
