Ayıp Ettik is a fun story about how shameful it is to consider sexuality shameful. Because it is the reason for our existence. Our claim is this: the greatest discovery in history is sexuality, that is, the discovery of one another by women and men. Calling this a discovery isn't all that strange. Because since women and men weren't sent with an instruction manual, if Adam and Eve had just eaten, drunk, and slept, none of us would be here today.

Bahar, who works as a factory worker and has just turned 18, has completely different dreams for her future, but her family has already decided her fate. Caught between a silent mother, a retired father who seeks happiness elsewhere, and an unemployed older brother, Bahar searches for salvation in a world she knows very little about. Her uncle, meanwhile, is waiting for Bahar to reach legal adulthood so he can marry her off to his own son. After a tragic incident forces Bahar to flee her home, her fate has already been sealed.

The film depicts a world in which Atatürk never became leader, the War of Independence never took place, and the Ottoman Republic continues to exist in a form adapted to the present day. The continuation of the Ottoman Republic instead of the Republic of Turkey, Ankara not being the capital, signs and license plates being in both Turkish and Arabic, and the sultan wearing a suit under his caftan are some of the tragicomic situations that make up the film's story.

Ali works at the beach and waits every summer for the girl he loves to come on vacation. Umut goes fishing with his father and is madly in love with Zehra, who makes baskets on the island, but he can't bring himself to tell her brother about his feelings. Ömer works in the vineyard with his father. Additionally, he is developing formulas to produce his own wine in a small section of the vineyard allocated to him. The only hope of these three friends is to establish a winery together. All their efforts are aimed at raising the necessary funds. However, their lives are turned upside down by news from Vasilis. Now, it is time for everyone to confront their true feelings.

Onur is a pastry owner who passionately loves making pastries. He makes a strawberry cake everyday but he never sells it. He reserves that cake for the woman whom he will fall in love with. One day, famous actress Burcu Burkan visits his pastry shop for shooting a scene. This meeting gives them an opportunity to cross their paths with each other but Burcu has a secret.

A 30-year-old woman who works in a News Channel, living alone in the flat left by her musician parents who died in a car crash twenty years ago. Is it? The question creeps into her mind, and then (or maybe even before) her life through recurring nightmares: Is it possible that her parents did not die in a car crash?

Cezayir Türk, a secret service assassin who served for his country, gets revenge of his brother who is sabotaged. He starts a new life by showing that he died for the sake of the state and the safety of his family. As a result of an injury that takes place on one of his operations abroad, he meets Firuze, one of the doctors without borders. Even though he misses his wife and kids, from the bottom of his heart he knows that going back to them is nearly impossible, yet this word is not in his vocabulary. He falls in love with Firuze to start their family, in the meantime, he gets exposed and had to go back to Istanbul. Neither his secondary family knows, nor did the original family who wept and prayed at his graveyard follow up the recent events happening to him. Istanbul, on the other hand, is not the same as where he left. He will do his best fighting the foreign forces, while it will also require his energy to be divided between two women who are in love with him.
