Stathis, a naughty young man whose father owns a coffee shop at the island’s central square, picks up attractive tourists. His neighbor Rena, who is in love with him, stands in the middle of his love affairs and does her best to win him. Moreover, his sister Kaiti, a cute and tender girl, falls in love with an young guy who met while traveling, and who stays on the island for her sake. After many humorous events, both couples find happiness.

A violinist, Lefteris, is constantly running around on account of his work - from the Symphonic Orchestra to the Church. One Sunday, an incident caused by the competition between two churches sends him to prison, where he tells the story of his life to a fellow-prisoner. He has had an eventful life, rich in both marriage and divorce.

An honest citizen finds a package containing twenty million drachmas and hands it over to the police, receiving an award as the "most honest citizen" of the year. However, this event will cause him many problems.

A group of young lives intensely, leading engines and wildly amusing. George falls in love with a serious girl, who will attempt to admonish him. Her brother would react to their relationship but will calm, when George, for the sake of the relationship with his beloved, will change mentality.

An 80-year-old widower, Mr. Elias, goes to his village (Perithorio, where he had been president of the community for twenty-four consecutive years) to vote in the municipal elections. There he meets his childhood sweetheart (Fotini, also a widow). Their youthful engagement had been broken off due to a misunderstanding, but now their love is rekindled and they are considering marriage, despite the opposition of Fotini's daughter. When one day the village madman announces their rendezvous, the elderly couple, panicked, take the bus and flee to Drama. There they spend carefree, tender moments, but Mr. Elias' son, Aristides, finds them and forces them to return. However, the big decision has already been made, and when Mr. Elias' pension for former mayors and community presidents comes through, nothing can stop the couple anymore. Fotini comes to Athens and, together with Elias, they visit her grandson.
