Burcu Ger

This short film is shot as a part of a film directing workshop at IFA with a student only crew in eight hours.

While Ekin (27) and Murat (28) return from a wedding at night, Ekin fails to see a bump in the road and his carelessness results in two flat tires. When they arrive at the repair shop with the help of a tow truck, Ekin and Murat see that the mechanics have set up a table with drinks and music.

On a seemingly ordinary night in Istanbul, a young couple are on the way to a friend’s farewell party. They soon begin to face the strenuous challenges of navigating their city, causing them to grow increasingly tired and agitated, questioning their own lives as the night progresses.

Featuring seven different yet intertwined stories of modern life in Istanbul, 7 Faces is a thought-provoking drama centering on seven characters living in the same city apartment building. Each of them faces a major change in their lives, which requires them to confront their biggest fear or weakness.
