The film tells the story of Saida, a married woman with a daughter, who works as an employee in a company and lives a quiet and happy life, Saida is kidnapped by a taxi driver who rapes her with his friend. For fear of scandal, she hides what she was exposed to from the police and from her husband, to whom she only tells that she was robbed.

The story follows three young men, an engineer, a professor, and a scientist, who live under one roof, as well as Rahma, the young woman who handles the house chores. Problems begin when Rahma discovers her pregnancy, and she claims that Tawfiq is the father.

There are five divorced women from different social strata, and are professionally active in various fields. These women try to rebuild their lives, in an unequal society, dominated by prejudices against divorced women, and ignorance of the rules of law governing the status of women.
