Dr. Přelouč is enthusiastic about the poor, uneducated girl and tries to teach her the basics of social behavior and standard language. All this until he discovers that Míla has deceived him and that Pleticha is not her father, as she had claimed...

Sextánka

Sixth-year student Eva Martenová falls in love with the new young professor Jiří Hron. She cannot concentrate in his lessons, even though she is as well prepared as ever for teaching. On a school trip, Professor Bruncvíková tries to win Hron over, but the professor dances with Eva at a party. At school, Eva's thoughts are elsewhere again and she refuses to give Bruncvíková Hron's portrait. She goes to Hron's office crying and he tries to calm her down. His friendly gesture is seen by Professor Bernard, who had previously had reservations about Hron's modern teaching methods. He informs the principal that Hron was holding student Martenová in his arms. When Eva learns that Hron is facing disciplinary proceedings because of her, she attempts suicide. However, her friend Martina's brother, Dr. Pavel Haler, saves her. In the hospital, Eva is visited by a vindicated Hron and confesses his love for her.

Jindřich Tůma, a partner in the gas mask shop "Asana", has a very energetic wife who promotes a vegetarian diet. The real soul of the company is Ing. Ivan Kareš, who also leads civil defense exercises. On the street, during a practice air raid warning, he sternly reprimands a girl who did not go to shelter. It is Věrka, the Tůma's niece, who comes from the countryside to finish her studies in Prague. Věrka enters the seventh grade and soon shares the enthusiasm of her classmates for an unknown composer whose pseudonym is Michal Marhan. Ing. Kareš gives a lecture on civil defense in the seventh grade and so meets Věrka again. Kareš tries to convince the girls of the necessity of more concrete life ideals. At the premiere of Marhan's operetta "Píseň o štěstí" it turns out that Kareš is the composer. The girls give him a standing ovation. Ivan ignores Věrka, with whom he has recently had a falling out. The stubborn girl therefore leaves for home...

Eighteen Years Old

The story tells of a village girl, falsely accused by her sister-in-law of the murder of her illegitimate child. The unfortunate girl ends up in court, but fortunately her lawyer suspects that passion and hatred rule in this case. Eman Vovísek drinks away his unrequited love for Liduška, who married his cousin, the factory owner Danek. Because Eman is aggressive when drunk, he is taken to a mental health facility, where he meets his uncle Hanibal. Hanibal has a breakdown after his wife Matylda broke up with him. Matylda wanted to be free so she could marry her first love, Uncle Jonathan, who is due to arrive from America. Jonathan sends a telegram saying he will stay in Paris. Such a situation does not suit Danek. He assumed that Liduška would be visiting from America and that he himself would go to his mistress in the meantime. He therefore visits Vovísek and persuades him to play the role of Jonathan.

The heroes of the Czech film comedy are the students of the Business Academy, who sleep in the school desks under the avalanche of a large amount of study material, without which they say they will not be able to do without in their future profession.
