Apolinar

Tancredo, a poor man, is in love with a rich girl, who does not return his feelings. One day when she is bathing in a river, a flood sweeps her away and Tancredo is unable to save her. Mad with grief, he steals the sun. The gods call Apolinar to restore light to the earth, but he is obstructed by the magician of darkness, until by means of a telescope he is able to send a bag of light to Tancredo, now grown old. Tancredo goes to the seashore and opens the bag of light as an offering to his beloved, whereupon the sun returns to the earth.

Pueblo chico, infierno grande is a Mexican historical telenovela produced by José Alberto Castro for Televisa and originally broadcast on Canal de las Estrellas from January 6 to August 1, 1997. Created by Javier Ruán and adapted by Javier Ruán, Mario Hernández, and Sergio Schmucler, the telenovela is based on a true story about Leonarda Ruán. It stars Verónica Castro, Juan Soler, and Guillermo Capetillo. The story is set in the late 19th century and follows Leonarda Ruán, a wealthy widow from the town of Nahuatzen who falls in love with Genaro Onchi, a young man from a humble background. Their relationship faces strong opposition from society, family conflicts, jealousy, and the return of people from Leonarda's past who try to separate them. As secrets and rivalries emerge, Leonarda and Genaro fight to protect their love against the judgment and traditions of their small town.

Muchacha italiana viene a casarse is a 1971 Mexican telenovela by Televisa produced by Ernesto Alonso and directed by Alfredo Saldaña, starring Angélica María and Ricardo Blume. Writing credits belong to Delia González Marquez, Fernanda Villeli, Marissa Garrido, Miguel Sabido and Carlos Lozano Dana The series featured two theme songs: "A dónde va nuestro amor" and "Lo que sabemos del amor". Both songs were written by Eduardo Magallanes and performed by Angélica María.

El Privilegio de Amar

Juan de la Cruz, a young seminarian, visits the home of his mother, Ana Joaquina—a religious zealot who has always imposed her will on her son and instilled in him a calling to serve God. Mi Pequeña Traviesa

Mi Pequeña Traviesa is a Mexican youth and family telenovela produced and directed by Pedro Damián for Televisa and originally broadcast on Canal de las Estrellas from December 8, 1997, to April 24, 1998. It is an adaptation of the Argentine telenovela Me llaman Gorrión, created by Abel Santa Cruz. The telenovela stars Michelle Vieth and Héctor Soberón. The story follows Julia González, a young woman whose dreams of pursuing a professional career are interrupted after her father is left paralyzed in an accident. To support her family, she disguises herself as a boy in order to find work. Along the way, she falls in love with Alberto Miranda, and together they must overcome social differences, family conflicts, and the many obstacles that stand in the way of their happiness.

Yo compro esa mujer

In the early 20th century, the Montes de Oca family—comprising two sisters and a cousin—finds itself entangled in an intense love triangle. Matilde is in love with her cousin Rodrigo, who loves the other sister, Branca Flor; she, in turn, loves a humble fisherman. Upon discovering this, Rodrigo accuses the fisherman of theft, leading to his arrest. The lovestruck cousin’s malice knows no bounds; learning that Branca Flor is carrying the fisherman's child, he waits for the baby to be born so he can make it disappear.

Mundo de Juguete

Mundo de Juguete is a telenovela produced in Mexico by Televisa in 1974. It is a remake of telenovela Papá Corazón. This telenovela holds the record for having the second longest run ever for a Latin American telenovela, with a total of 605 episodes. Most telenovelas run for an average of six to eight months; the shortest ones run about four months, and the longest up to a year. Many "Mundo de Juguete" fans believe that either all or some of the tapes and film from the telenovela were lost when Televisa collapsed during the 1985 earthquake. Televisa has been secretive regarding which tapes were lost during that earthquake, so there is no way of confirming this. However, such claims can be disputed, considering that the Telenovela has been repeated on television several times after 1985. During the nineties, it was repeated on Mexico City Canal 9. For a period of time, it was also shown on Unicable or on Telenovelas Televisa remade the telenovela in 2000, and called it "Carita de Angel".

The Marked Hour

La Hora Marcada was a 1986 Mexican television anthology series famous for its horror and science fiction themes in the vein of the Twilight Zone. Although virtually unknown outside the country, it achieved a popular and critical success in Mexico. It had a series of rotating writers and directors, among them Emmanuel Lubezki, Guillermo del Toro and Alfonso Cuarón.

Love Without Makeup

Amor sin Maquillaje is a mini novela that was shown in 2007. It is a production of Rosy Ocampo, who also produced La Fea Mas Bella. The stars are Sergio Goyri and Marlene Favela; It was a tribute to the 50 years of telenovelas in Mexico.

Wild Heart

Corazón salvaje is a Mexican telenovela produced by Salvador Mejía Alejandre in conjunction with Televisa and broadcast on El Canal de las Estrellas. The telenovela debuted on 12 October 2009 at 9:00 pm, replacing Sortilegio, and aired for a total of 135 episodes. The final episode was broadcast on 16 April 2010, and the program was replaced with Soy tu dueña. In the United States, the telenovela debuted on 22 February 2010 at 9:00 pm on Univisión, again replacing Sortilegio. However, beginning on 26 April, the program was moved from prime time to the 12:00 midnight time slot.

Pasión y poder

Serafín

Serafín is a Mexican children's telenovela produced by José Alberto Castro for Televisa and originally broadcast on Canal de las Estrellas from August 30 to December 17, 1999. It stars Maribel Guardia, Eduardo Santamarina, Jordi Landeta, and features the voice of María Fernanda Morales as Serafín. The telenovela was the first Mexican production to incorporate digitally created animated characters into a live-action telenovela. The story follows Serafín, a cheerful but mischievous little angel who is sent to Earth to learn how to become a Guardian Angel. In Mexico City, he meets Pepe, an unhappy boy living with his mother, grandfather, and abusive stepfather. Determined to bring hope and happiness into Pepe's life, Serafín helps him and his friends overcome family conflicts, fear, and adversity while teaching lessons about love, friendship, kindness, and faith.

Las secretas intenciones is a Mexican telenovela produced by Lucy Orozco for Televisa and originally broadcast on Canal de las Estrellas from August 17 to November 27, 1992. Created by Alberto Rudich and directed by Francisco Franco, the telenovela stars Yolanda Andrade and Cristián Castro in their first leading roles. The story follows Larisa Cardenal and Miguel Ángel Curiel, two young people whose romance is threatened by family conflicts, hidden secrets, and the manipulations of Antonieta Alcántara, a woman determined to take revenge on Larisa's family. As long-buried truths come to light, their lives become entangled in a web of love, betrayal, and ambition.
