Trying to escape her broken past, Sarah O’Neill is building a new life on the fringes of a backwood rural town with her young son Chris. A terrifying encounter with a mysterious neighbour shatters her fragile security, throwing Sarah into a spiralling nightmare of paranoia and mistrust, as she tries to uncover if the disturbing changes in her little boy are connected to an ominous sinkhole buried deep in the forest that borders their home.

Tinke, who has been drinking his health away, lives in a care home, where his dark humour and his friend Veikko keeps him going. When Saimi's teenage twins, whom he vaguely remembers from years ago, decide to find out about their father, their search leads them to Tinke. Saimi is determined to prevent the twins from meeting Tinke, but Veikko, who has been caught up in the mess, disagrees.

Pasi, a lonely but kind-hearted designer of artificial animals, lives in a world where nature is just a memory and human well-being is organized with perhaps too much care. One day, Pasi accidentally finds the world's last living squirrel and meets Emilia, an official who enforces the rules of well-being. Pasi decides to defy society's rules and help the squirrel, but something unexpected happens—the squirrel becomes depressed and Pasi falls in love.

Siiri, a hardworking millennial, wants to be successful in her job as the advisor to the Minister of Economic Affairs. She craves a promotion. Siiri’s job takes her and the hard-to-handle minister, an unpredictable eccentric boss lady, to a big tango festival in a small Finnish town. Siiri’s father Petri, a former tango artist and an overly optimistic middle-aged man, wants to make himself useful to Siiri while trying to hide the fact that he himself is homeless, bankrupt and finally at his wits end. Over the course of one summer weekend both Siiri’s and Petri’s facade comes tumbling down but the tango keeps going on in the sweet Finnish summer night.

16-year-old Eveliina accidentally sees her mother kissing another woman. Fearing her parents' divorce, she decides to intervene, by any means and without permission. In her opinion, the best way to destroy her mother's extramarital affair and bring her parents back together is a teenage daughter in trouble. Thus, Eveliina gets herself in trouble as many ways as she can. Along the way, the lives of a few others are at stake. Still, Eveliina guards her plan to the last, and the adults have their own secret ways of survival - until the bubble bursts.

Year 1977. Punk and new wave rock'n roll has arrived to remote Finland and a bleak small town Oulu where increasingly odd-looking youths began to appear in the street with a message. Their rebellion speaks to Välde (17). Välde dreams of joining a rock band and becoming famous. He wants to get drunk for the first time, and to win the love of Pike, the most beautiful girl in the class. When Pike wins the Miss Blue Jeans contest organised by the country´s leading (and only) pop music magazine Suosikki and takes as her boyfriend the bourgeois Henri Hakala, Välde puts all his eggs in one basket. He abandons his former self and begins purposefully constructing a new persona for himself. But everything doesn’t go as Välde wanted … The film is based on a novel by Kauko Röyhkä, an author and indie rock musician.

Finnish art fraud investigator, Emma, goes undercover to infiltrate an auction house in Stockholm to investigate the firm’s connection to a notorious money launderer known as Blanko. To go undetected, Emma chooses the cover identity Annika, a hot-headed socialite who lives for wild parties, drugs and alcohol and is the opposite of the cool, calm, and collected Emma. By adopting this wild persona, doors begin to open to the hidden world of high-class art fraud. However, becoming Annika means Emma must confront memories from her past that she has tried to forget.

Oona (20-something) runs a small coffee shop in the heart of hipsteresque Kallio district in Helsinki. Oona’s is not really the classic entrepreneur type: she’s often late to work and throws out customers she dislikes. She’s also constantly in a state of existential crisis over what she should become and whether she’s a somebody or just a nobody. Oona’s best friend is Arttu, a 25 y.o. gay artist-dj-creator-whatever. Together they hate, love, party and cry and try to become adults.
