A disillusioned Natsume arrives at Coin de Rue, a popular Tokyo pastry shop, begging for work. Aiming to become a high-calibre pastry chef, she is determined to overcome both her past and the challenges ahead. Pastry critic Tomura is a frequent visitor to Coin de Rue. Moved by Natsume's persistence, he slowly begins to confront his own painful past aided, of course, by mouthfuls of tasty pastries.

Two girls named Nana meet on a train to Tokyo. Nana K. aims to reunite with her boyfriend and Nana O. hopes to make it big in the music business. Despite their differences, the pair hit it off and become roommates.

The "pedestrian" is replaced with a woman, and in the theater of a certain boarding hall, many of the hectic scenes filled with the nature of the residence of the resident of the residence are drawn in a beautiful and sensual manner.

The series ran from July 7, 1960 to December 27, 1960 on NET (now TV Asahi) for a total of 26 episodes. The film for the first episode is all that is known to have survived.
