"Years of Macau" is an anthology film consisting of nine short films set in different years and locations in Macau. They include "Go Back Home", "REC-Last Days", "Sparkling Mind", "The Last Show", "Till the End of World", "The First Cigarette", "A Moment", "Dirty Laundry" and "Summer". All nine directors are from Macau, most of whom were born and raised here. The stories of each film share what the directors feel about Macau using the language of cinema to convey their love for the city.

O Cravo (The Carnation) revisits the old streets of Macau, from the point of view of film noir: a passionate Portuguese man, a broken heart, an intrigue, a dark alley, memories of a lost territory.

Wong Kei is a 25 year old boy who quited his job and spends his days wandering around the streets taking pictures of people. One day he takes a photo that will change his monotonous life and take him through a journey to the past of his hometown, the small old fishing village of Macao.

Nineteen-year old Ina inherits a sauna and decides to build a new future for the girls working there, but first she needs to confront her father's dangerous past.

Ngai is a hardworking restaurant owner who has poured his heart and soul into his business, hoping to leave a lasting legacy for his family. However, when his son Wo expresses a desire to pursue a career in football, Ngai is torn between supporting his son’s dreams and continuing the family tradition. As Wo trains tirelessly to achieve his goal, Ngai grapples with the fear of losing their family’s livelihood if he allows Wo to pursue a non-traditional path. He must navigate the pressures of societal expectations while also balancing the wants and needs of both himself and his son.
