Alice travels to Paris and hears five stories adapted from children's picture books in this anthology film. The books adapted include: "Anatole," "Madeline and the Bad Hat," "The Frowning Prince," "Many Moons," and "Madeline and the Gypsies."

With his purple crayon, Harold draws a picture for his room - and then becomes part of it.

Harold draws himself a castle in an enchanted garden and fills it with a king, a giant, a fairy - and himself!

This is the ingeniously imaginative story of a small boy who, with his magic crayon, draws himself in and out of a series of adventures.

Based on the classic book, these adventures star Harold, and inventive and curious toddler with thoughts, desires, and feelings typical of any child his age. In his Crayon World, Harold can muse on questions that all young children naturally wonder about, and he can come up with his own answers.
