During the invasion of Normandy the photograph of a slim Korean man in German uniform was found. It transpired that the man had served as a soldier in the Japanese, Russian and German armies. His incredible story inspired director Kang Je-Gyu to create this epic war drama.

One middle aged women is admitted to the hospital in a coma. Yeon-hee, who has been searching for a heart to transplant to her daughter, who has critical heart disease, is begging middle aged women's gangster son, Whee-do, by giving him a fortune. In June 1950, soon after the start of the Korean War, a troop of North Korean soldiers enter a small South Korean village. Captain Jeong-woong proclaims that they came to liberate the villagers but their true agenda is to ferret out the reactionaries. The villagers and Seol-hee, who is separated from her fiance on her wedding day, offer them heartfelt hospitality and cooperation to avoid falling out of the army's favor. Eventually friendships starts to build up between the soldiers and the villagers.

After an accident shatters her storybook life, a comatose woman gets a second chance at life when a reaper from above intervenes, at a cost.

Ms Panda and Mr Hedgehog is a South Korean romantic comedy television series starring Lee Donghae of Super Junior and Yoon Seung-ah. It was broadcast on Channel A from August 18, 2012 to October 7, 2012. The story is about Go Seung-ji, a prickly patissier who teams up with Pan Da-yang, an easygoing pastry shop owner, to open a successful new cafe.
