Pandelis is a garbageman who is anxiously waiting to retire and receive his well-earned superannuation payout. His wife and mother-in-law are also awaiting the super payout, but they have different ideas as to how the money should be spent. The usually submissive and calm Pandelis suddenly decides to react... Philippides does a sterling job as the long-suffering Pandelis and his vicissitudes leave one with a warm feeling. Unlikely though the scenario may seem, one wishes it to be true, thus giving hope for the many Pandelides out there who find themselves contemplating life in their middle years with regret and disappointment.

The premise of the series revolves around the daily lives of different couples of all ages from 20 to 65, but who are not connected to each other. Each couple has their own space where they live, while the story of each couple in each episode is not connected to the stories of the other couples.

Eleni and Konstantinos are two totally different people who are forced to live under the same roof, because they are in the middle of the proceedings of a trial, regarding the ownership of the house. Konstantinos is a strict university professor, while Eleni is a crazy girl who works at a bar. Their different characters put them in constant conflict, but does this mean that they really hate each other?

Maria, i Aschimi is the Greek adaptation of the Colombian telenovela Betty la Fea. The series ran from 2007 to 2008 on Mega Channel in Greece. The series starred Aggeliki Daliani in the title role of Maria and Anthimos Ananiadis as the boss who became the man of her dreams.

Eliza Stamatiou lives with her mother, Margarita, and her younger brother, Giorgos, somewhere in Brahami. Their financial situation is very good and everyone at home has relative freedom of movement. In the boredom of everyday life and a rather indifferent life, Eliza juxtaposes her imagination, which has been fueled by endless hours in movie theaters or in front of the video. Her generally unsuccessful attempts to transfer elements and situations from movies and their corresponding heroines to her daily life, provoke laughter and emotion.
