After 35 years working in a factory in Germany, Ilias returns to his almost deserted village and buys a service station on the main street to Ioannina. He wants to make a new start but soon feels like a foreigner again, this time in his own country. His relationship with Eleni, his younger and still beautiful wife, is going though a serious crisis. Eleni, who married him when she was very young to escape the poverty of village life, now feels she is suffocating. She wants to live while there is still time.Their life changes when Ilias saves Petros, a young Albanian illegal immigrant who comes to Greece seeking a better life, from the border guards and hires him in his shop.

The Guide

Nine frustrated young architects in an equally frustrated city. A comedy about sexuality, Athens and modern Greeks. Iasonas arrives in Athens starting his new ambitious career as “architects’ guide”. His group consists of international students of architecture, finishing their Erasmus in Thessaloniki. Soon Iasonas faces the contradicting wishes of the students who prefer a day-long coffee or a visit to a graveyard than a guide to the Acropolis. Meanwhile, he meets back with his once (more than just a) best friend Mirsini. Trapped between a friend who progressively sees him less and less as a friend and a group that sees him less and less as a guide, Iasonas will have to give an answer to all his personal questions regarding his sexuality and his career.

Maneki Neko

The unexpected encounter of two strangers and their agreement while waiting for a cab to share the cost of the ride, becomes the motive for the anatomy of a relationship.

A railway crossing in the middle of nowhere. Two guards: solitary Yiannis who never leaves his post and cool Antonis who goes with the rhythm of the landscape. Every once in a while, a voice announces the passing of a train. The two guards manually lower the bars. Nothing seems to stir their daily routine until love charges in, crushing all certainties.

And the dessert? She has to star in a cooking show, and in the last few weeks she has completely lost... her taste!
