Following the death of their patriarch Gus, the Portokalos family travels to Greece for a family reunion, and to deliver Gus' journal to his old friends.

Summer 2018. As the tension between Greece and Turkey escalates, a big earthquake brings a small island to the surface of the Aegean sea. Both Greeks and Turks rush in to conquer the island, but since none of the countries wish to disrupt the summer, both sides are left alone on the island.

In the barren stretch of the motorway, Jimmy’s family diner is on the verge of extinction—until a botched drug deal drops a bag of cash into his lap. Now, Jimmy must navigate the dangerous underworld of gangsters, shady cops, and his own treacherous staff to save the business he’s clung to his entire life. With a mix of crime, thriller, and dark comedy, Jimmy and his eccentric crew—Mara, Nicko, and Abi—must outsmart the criminals closing in, all while struggling with their own growing desires for the cash. It’s a game of survival, where no one plays fair.

The new 24-episode musical comedy is a hybrid of comical situations, heaps of satire and musical spectacle, based on Foivos Delivorias and Spyros Krimpalis' original idea and directed by Grigoris Karantinakis. An original fiction series, in which reality will be defeated by surrealism.
