Midlife

Yonatan is a pilot, who on his 40th birthday discovers that he missed a phone call from his wife Sherry, while cheating on her. Now that the cancer is discovered in her body, he tries to fill in the gaps with her. Sherry reveals to him that a decade ago, she refused to help her young and wild sister, Ahinoam, after she left her husband. Sherry asks Yonatan to help her reconcile with Ahinoam. With the help of a charismatic rabbi, the whole family meets in a small and spiritual settlement, on the way to Tikkun during their middle life.

Life Without Credit

Libby, wild and enigmatic, wanders like a possessed woman among the corners of the streets of South Tel Aviv as she carries an explosive secret in her heart. Libby escaped from “Or La’banot" a religious care institution and she is on the run. Libby is desperately looking for Ezra, a mysterious relative of hers, who was appointed as her legal guardian, after she was declared "mentally ill" and then disappeared from her life. With vague details on his whereabouts, she encounters other people that Ezra knew or met, penetrates their loneliness while gathering more clues to the fate of the man who holds her keys to freedom.

The Office

“The Office” is a mocumentary series based on the British show of the same name. Somewhere within the industrial area of Yahud is a grey, drab office, the failing branch of an office supply company heroically named “Paper-Office”. The branch is run by the show’s protagonist, Avi Meshulam, a 40-year-old loser, who’s overweight and has severe self-image issues that turn him into a liar, a suck-up, and a generally unbearable human being. He’s absolutely sure that he’s a wonderful standup comedian, who wound up in this boring, humiliating job purely by chance. Management is constantly trying to fire him, his employees despise him, yet he is ever the optimist, and he talks in catch phrases lifted from the most banal management books. He is surrounded by the range of characters that make up the impossible mosaic of Israeli society. Romance flourishes, schemes are hatched, lamination machines are sold on sale– and everybody tries to make it through yet another day with their unbearable boss.
