Abigél came to the Czech Republic from Hungary with a super important goal: to learn how to pronounce the most difficult letter in the world ... rrrzs,rrr, rzsr rhz ... Ř!

Inspired by the traditional Slavic folktale “The Enormous Turnip,” a beetroot grows so huge that no one can pull it from the ground. When a local crane operator is hired to do the job, the giant vegetable turns violent and destructive. As chaos unfolds, an army is mobilized to stop it — but maybe there’s another way to appease this monstrous force... 2D animation, stop-motion, and live action mix together in this wild riff on Japanese kaiju movies.

Based on first-person interviews and archival materials, this animated documentary brings back the glory days of Czechoslovak hockey — but also the dark moments from the year 1950. Chase follows not only the players’ personal fates, but also the transformations in society, politics, and culture taking place in the background.
