In 1933, a young woman and her father discover an Alabama plantation whose inhabitants live as if slavery had never been abolished. Feeling a sense of duty to those behind the heavy gates, she stays to liberate the people and see them through their first harvest. With four of her father's colleagues and a lawyer, she faces the daunting task of resurrecting the place known as Manderlay.

The film focuses on the tumultuous romance in the lives of four women in The Hague. Teenage daughter Eva, her mother Judith, aunt Barbara and older sister Anna make it under one roof Hague together a nice game of. They are beautiful, courageous and sensible, but sometimes they just do not know in a world full of tender love, serial dating, slaked lust, affairs, children's desires and indestructible old loves.

Five best friends, all married, decide to share a loft apartment. In this loft they meet their mistresses and conquests. Everything seems perfect, until one morning the body of an unknown young woman is found in the loft. The group of friends begin to suspect each other and it soon becomes clear that they know far less about each other than they had initially thought.

A frustrated artist from the city is seeking solace with a recently widowed farmer. To get closer to the farmer, she does her utmost to approximate his departed wife. But her fertile imagination leads her to go too far.

A fictional story within the historical context of the disastrous flood that engulfed the Dutch coastal province of Zeeland in 1953. When their farmhouse is destroyed by the flood, teenage mother Julia gets separated from her baby boy, whom she kept hidden in a box. She is saved from drowning by a young air force lieutenant, who agrees to go help looking for Julia's little son.

Suske and Wiske, Lambik, and Aunt Sidonia are staying at the Ganzehoeve estate. During a walk, Suske and Wiske find a wooden box containing a black stone. They give the stone to Sidonia, who sells it to the baron. The next day, Sidonia is lying in bed, seriously ill. "Anyone who tries to enrich themselves with the stone will die before the next full moon unless the stone is returned to the alchemist." Suske and Wiske must return the diamond to the alchemist at all costs. They enlist the help of Professor Barabas and use the time machine to flash back to the 15th century. This marks the beginning of an exciting quest.

The red-haired Loulou, who suddenly appears in Guy and Alfred's car, doesn't exactly bring them luck. The heavily armed and rather tough dropout from the terrorist scene not only sets her ex-comrades on them, but also a vengeful cop. The two guys don't have time for cat-and-mouse games. They are traveling from Amsterdam to Barcelona on behalf of a drug ring with several bags full of ecstasy, while Alfred's wife Anna is being held hostage in Holland to secure the dealers. If the two don't answer a call at a set time every few hours in a specific phone booth, Anna will not fare well. Then Loulou literally falls from the sky and throws all their plans into disarray. And time is running out...

Pastry chef Ben van Bommel runs a hitherto successful bakery, but lately run into trouble with the tax service. In order to save his business, he succumbs to criminal temptation. So he's persuaded to bake a cake with a valuable 'secret ingredient': smuggled drugs. Nobody could have foreseen the wide ramifications, such as who ends up saving Ben's bacon.

Baantjer is a Dutch television programme which was broadcast by RTL 4 from 6 October 1995 until 1 December 2006 for a total of 123 episodes in 12 seasons. It stars Piet Römer as Jurriaan 'Jurre' de Cock, a police detective, and Victor Reinier as Dick Vledder, his helper. The series is based on the novels of writer A. C. Baantjer. In 1999, RTL 4 broadcast the television film Baantjer, de film: De Cock en de wraak zonder einde because of the tenth anniversary of the network.
