Arnaldo Fernandes

An aspiring actress is hired to dub a recently deceased movie star in an upcoming erotic thriller. As the recording sessions go on, the voice actress finds herself slowly being influenced by the dead star’s presence.

Four people--Eliana, an adult movie actress who is pestered by a psychotic fan; Ester, a young woman who became pregnant with a village boy; Danilo, a failed deputy who is in love with a hotel maid much younger than him, and his unfaithful ex-wife, Elza--all end up in a small inner-city hotel.

Carlos abandons the priestly vocation to marry Luci. His life is normal and happy until Luci dies in a car accident and her daughter disappears. Carlos resumes the vocation, becomes a priest and, casually, meets his grown-up daughter again.
