While Jonaki, an 80-year-old woman, searches for love in a strange world of decaying memories, her lover, now old and grey, returns to a world she is leaving behind.

The film begins with a 'retreat', in which alumni from different batches of a residential school have travelled to their alma mater for a reunion. Anabil, one of the alumnus, presently working with UNICEF India as a 'child protection specialist', narrates the story of his childhood days spent in the residential school. In his childhood, when he was admitted to the residential school by his parents, Anabil happened to be a very shy student possessing below average abilities. For such a child, time table specific, demanding hostel life was not easy. A mischievous senior student Bishey and his gang added to Anabil's woes. Due to similarity in names, Anabil was nicknamed 'Beelay' (the pet name of Swami Vivekananda)by his seniors

Anupam's marriage has broken down and daughter Lina's authority gets her mother. Anupam comes back to his country. Started teaching in an University. After he meet with his friend Bhashkar and his wife Sohini, gradually Anupam developed a special intimacy with Sohini. At one time, they decided to spend the rest of their life together

A married couple has come to Kalimpong for a vacation. They book a bungalow which is rumoured to be haunted. During their stay, they experience some paranormal activities which lead to murder. Then investigating starts and the mystery surrounding the house is also solved.
