Quarantine

During an experiment, an accident occurs at the Institute of Epidemiology. To prevent the virus of a deadly disease from penetrating the walls of the laboratory, five employees remain in quarantine. In this situation, people reveal themselves in the most unexpected ways.

Once in December

Based on the short story by Yu. Shcherbak, ‘Harmonic Inspiration.’ The film’s characters meet at a concert in the Kyiv Philharmonic. That December evening, filled with Vivaldi’s astonishing music, becomes a part of each of the four people’s lives, helping them recall and understand their past.

Approaching the Future

The hero of the film, academician Sergei Vasilyevich Lunin, director of the Kiev Research Institute of Informatics, is working on the implementation of the Unity project in the enterprises of a single department. According to his calculations, this global information network should significantly reduce the number of intermediate instances and, accordingly, the decision-making time. Lunin has opponents. Despite a sharp deterioration in health, the hero goes to the Novogorsk Tractor Plant and there he finds out the real reason for the downtime, and, consequently, the reason for hiding the data. Knowing that he has only six months to live, Lunin abandons the operation and does everything possible to protect his project.

The Way to the Heart

Professor Andrey Prikhodko is working on the problem of heart transplantation. On one of his happier days, the doctor decides to sort out his personal life and propose to his beloved Valentina. However, his son, who is still struggling to come to terms with the death of his mother, is against his father getting married. Realizing the complexity of the situation, Valentina breaks up with her beloved friend. Prykhodko finds the strength to overcome his depression and prepares for his first heart transplant operation.
