How a worker family living in a worker neighborhood of between wars Bucharest come involved with the communist movement.

In Alexandru Tatos’s debut film, a young urologist is assigned to a town hospital with no urology ward and keeps bumping up against his superiors because of both ethical and medical problems.

Inspired by Lucian Blaga's eponymous dramatic work written in 1927, the story follows the life of the legendary master Manole and his team of builders who are hired to construct a monastery in a remote and inaccessible area. As the construction progresses, Manole faces various challenges and obstacles, as well as the pressure to create a durable and beautiful building. As the work progresses, Manole finds himself in the midst of a dilemma: in order to reinforce the construction, he is forced to sacrifice something very dear to him. This act of sacrifice is central to the story and raises profound themes such as art, devotion, and the human limits of sacrifice.

Valedictorian in a flight class, he has to complete 2 years of utility aviation before going into military. He is unhappy about that and he clashes with the old commandant Bărcan.

Young Moldovan nobles try to overthrow King Mihail Sturdza. They plot an assassination and spread flyers. On this backdrop, there is a romance story between Franz Liszt, in tournament, and one of the noblemen's daughter, who is close to the plotters.

Agatha Slatineanu, together with the alleged banker Troianoff, rob the boyar Valcu of a treasure collected in order to buy the throne. However, the gold is recovered by Margelatu for the benefit of the "Brotherhood".

This is a film about love, crime of passion, revenge, happening in the Romanian countryside, late XIX century.
