Based upon the novel by Vladimir Nabokov, a chess grandmaster travels to Italy in the 1920s to play in a tournament and falls in love.

6th January 1975, in an infant nursery in Palermo (Italy), for a mysterious reason, a male nurse exchanges the labels of baby number 7 and 8. Thirty-one years later Tommaso (7) and Daniele (8) meet each other by accident.

Rome, late 1990s. Military service is still compulsory, and to avoid it, Marco, an ambitious young architect already on the rise, chooses conscientious objection and the resulting alternative civilian service. However, he ends up in a rehabilitation center for the disabled, where he has to take care of a girl suffering from a severe form of muscular dystrophy. After a difficult start, marked by the intolerance of the young manager, who is not used to low-paid jobs, the two form a deep bond, and the architect says that thanks to the girl, his civil service has been less difficult.

Carabinieri is an Italian television series that aired on Canale 5 from March 2002 to July 30, 2008. The series is an action thriller with added elements of comedy, and has been compared to the soap opera format. It told the story of the police barracks located in Città della Pieve.

Blanca Ferrando is a young woman who became blind at the age of twelve, due to a dramatic fire in which her older sister Beatrice died and which was caused by her violent boyfriend, Sebastian.
