Germany, the 1930s. A young scientist, Professor Johannes Werner discovers rays of life-giving power. The scientist refuses to give up his invention for military use and, breaking the equipment, runs to the USA, where he hides for a long time under the name of Martini. One day, after being invited to a military industrial concern to see a new European invention, Werner meets his former pupil Huber. Huber, a traitor and fascist, has restored the professor's apparatus according to stolen plans and is demonstrating it as his own invention. Werner rejects the proposal for joint cooperation and, at a meeting in the hall of scientific associations, reveals his real name and resolutely reveals the criminal intentions of the revanchists.

Zakhar Psaltyrev went through many ordeals in the royal fleet, where massacres and bullying of people became a custom. Only thanks to his natural intelligence and perseverance, the illiterate peasant boy managed to avoid the fate of many of his comrades, who became drunkards and lost their human dignity. Captain 1st Rank Lezvin, commander of the cruiser "Svyatoslav", himself suffocating in the difficult atmosphere of the tsarist autocracy, fatherly fell in love with his messenger for his simple Russian soul, quick-witted mind, love for the homeland and hatred of oppression. Zakhar learned a lot from Lezvin, but soon they had to part. Zakhar becomes an active underground Bolshevik.

A young singer from Buryat-Mongolian collective farm is sent to Moscow to study. Despite his strong voice, he fails a music exam. After the police station he becomes a soloist in a choir and a police sergeant, while studying music reading and dreaming of a conservatory.

The movie consists of two novellas. "The Affair". Russian sailor Nikolai and former bullfighter Spaniard Jose-Maria are hired on a ship, doomed in advance: the owner of the ship intends to sink it during the voyage to get a large insurance. "Scorpion and cotton candy." Friends are employed as sailors on the ship "Jupiter". The revolutionary committee assigns them to deliver an underground newspaper to Odesa. Scorpion himself, who can detect any contraband, takes part in the customs inspection at the Odesa port.

Driven from the court by her sisters' scheming, the young Tsarina is thrown into the sea in a cask with her infant son. Surviving the storm-tossed voyage, the mother and her now magically-adult son land on a remote island where he falls in love with a Swan Princess in human form, and longs for reunion with his estranged father, Tsar Saltan. Merchants come to the island with news of the tsar, and the prince sends word back to him, but the sisters continue their campaign of lies and trickery to keep them apart.

A young girl decides to join a Hussar squadron and fight against Napoleon. Dressed as a man, she proves herself an excellent, even heroic soldier, but complications ensue when her real identity is revealed.

Young Daniyar drives his car along the mountain roads of the Tien Shan. One day, returning from a trip, he meets Asel. This encounter marks the beginning of a great love story for them. Daniyar breaks off his relationship with his former girlfriend, the beautiful Raihan, and marries Asel. But one day, his long-forgotten relationship with Raihan is rekindled. Asel, upon learning of her husband's infidelity, leaves him. Meanwhile, wanting to increase the number of trips and reduce travel time, Daniyar decides to drive through the pass with a trailer, but gets into an accident on the pass, the consequences of which are exacerbated by his co-worker Sadyk...

The film is about events which has happened with the "Potyomkin" ship.
