Beatriz is a famous psychoanalyst who teaches others to be happy, but isn't able to be happy herself. Things take a turn when her mother's death takes her traveling with her sister to Buenos Aires to comply with the unusual directives she left in her will.

This is an adaptation of the 2015 TV show, featuring two intertwining love triangles that drive the plot. The first triangle involves Aragão, his wife Arlinda, and her lover, Chico. The second triangle unites Malvina, Lena, and Gabriel, who is the son of Arlinda and Chico but raised by Aragão.

Gerluce became pregnant as a teenager and, just like her mother, Lígia, she raised her child alone. Now, Gerluce watches her daughter Joélly become the third generation of the family to go through the same situation. Besides the impact that teenage pregnancy brings to the whole family, the three Marias das Graças must deal with Lígia’s worsening health.
