A motley of vacationers on a bus headed for a week long vacation at a seaside resort. Among them: a single, moderately famous singer; a nerdy, onanistic man; a couple of old ladies reaching senility; a couple of young gals looking for an amorous adventure; a family with a boy unsure about where he fits sexually; a beautiful woman that, besides working as a trip guide, has pretensions of being a music composer; a couple of gay men; and another family where the parents are stuck in a sexual ice age while their twentyish daughter is looking to connect with a man.

Honza is a normal 19-year-old boy from Ústí nad Labem who is head over heels in love with his girlfriend, student and photographer Terezka. After the tragic death of his father, a passionate golfer, Honza grows up with only his mother and little brother Lukášek. The family is struggling to cope with the death of their father, and on top of that, they are facing financial problems in the form of debt collectors enforcing claims for a loan shark loan for their apartment.

After his mother's death, a man tries to sort out his declining relationship, live-in best friend, a career opportunity and a potential new romance.

Father Viktor, highly capable and successful in his profession, and his son Petr, an equally successful and promising student, suddenly find themselves in an unexpected situation – after the death of their wife and mother, these two exemplary models of the perfect man and student must deal with such a mundane matter as taking care of the household. As capable, intelligent, and successful men, they naturally see no problem with this. Their experienced neighbor Lupínek, a distinguished grandfather with four grandchildren to look after, warns them in vain and offers his help. Male vanity and pride are stronger. As a result, they gradually find themselves in a whirlwind of embarrassments, problems, and disasters that gradually erode their self-confidence and destroy their firm belief in their own perfection. Fortunately, Uncle Artur comes to the rescue.
