After the play of same name of Jafar Jabbarli. This melodrama is about the woman who had unhappy homelife and tried to free herself from shariat rules.

The plot of the film is taken from the legend of the Azerbaijan Maiden Tower. According to legend shirvanshah fell in love with his daughter and wanted to marry her. Learning of this daughter Shirvanshah jumped from the top of the tower in the Caspian Sea.

The investigator Seyfi Ganiyev runs the case of an illegal mercery shop's head Murad Abiyev, who confessed in embezzlement of one million rubles from public funds. Abiyev is also accused of the murder of an underage girls that occurred in Riga shortly after Abiyev saw her. He denies his guilt, but does not name the perpetrators though he knows them, despite the fact that he is facing the death penalty. The investigator understands that some high-ranking officials stand behind Abiyev, but he has no proof. Ganiyev seeks to obtain from the prisoner the whole truth to bring the criminals to justice.

The hero of the film coming to the village for a short while decided to stay there by his medical duty.

The film is about turkish poet Nazim Hikmat's autobiography.

The film consists of several novels reproducing the most vivid pages of the biography of the first Chairman of the Council of People's Commissars of Azerbaijan Nariman Narimanov (1870-1925).

Novruzali brings a gift from the village to the Khan as usual. The Khan writes a letter to his friend living in Yerevan, promising to come there with his wife and to tidy and heat the house where they will stay. He sends Novruzali to the post office to put the letter in the mailbox. And instructs him not to give it to anyone. Novruzali, who does not know what mail is, puts a letter in the mailbox for the first time in his life. Not knowing the rules, he waits near the mailbox. When the postal worker takes the letters from the mailbox, Novruzali thinks he is a thief and confronts him.

The film is about oilman who had beautiful voice. He didn't attach great importance to his friends is advice to get special music reward. But he changed his attitude to art under the influence of his friends.
