Heroines

Elli, Mimi and Luki do not claim the sweet, thousand-chewed concession of the "second chance". They are too young for that, they haven't turned thirty yet... Elli, Mimi and Luki are his women now, determined but also deeply vulnerable, self-sufficient but also in constant search, giving but also self-centered, confident but also fragile... The three of them will be faced with events that will overturn the way they have faced their lives until now. They'll get hurt, they'll hurt, they'll fall in love, they'll fall out of love, they'll get fired, they'll quit, they'll start over, they'll laugh a lot, they'll cry, they'll party crazy, they'll make love (a lot of love), they'll have sex (a lot of sex) , they will love, they will dare…

Master of the Shadows

Shadow puppetry is not only part of the heritage of East Asia; Greece had its own traditional form of this popular art. In this leisurely drama, set in 1950s Athens, Antonis Barkis (Kostas Kasakos) is the master puppeteer for a traditional shadow show. However, although he is still making a living, it is clear that other forms of popular entertainment will soon supplant this one. This does not improve Antonis' temper, and his assistant's desires to modernize their entertainments only make it worse.
