Sasha Gordeeva, an excellent student, dreamed of a career as a landscape designer, but dropped out of her last year of university due to the fact that her personal scholarship was canceled without explanation. Offended, the girl decides to take revenge on the owner of the company that took away her scholarship, a young and talented architect Sergei Gradsky. But their acquaintance turns into a surprise — Sasha will get not only the opportunity to finish his studies, but also a place in Sergei's company if he pretends to be his girlfriend for two months so that he can get his ex back.

Olga brings up two children from different marriages, cares about her alcoholic father and tries to adjust her personal life. The eldest daughter Anya is studying in a vocational school, she thinks that she is the only adequate member of the family, and in her life everything will be different. Charming secular adventurer Sasha escapes from Moscow to Krasnaya Polyana, where she is attracted by the proximity of the sea and mountains, palm trees and snow, ambitious majors and reckless adventurers. In an attempt to settle into a new place and profit from relaxed vacationers, she immediately falls into the clutches of the head of the resort's security service, Mikhalych.

The story is about five Moscow friends: Ole − a punchy girl from the province; Ira − suffering after breaking up a relationship with another guy; Veronica − a kind and cheerful girl struggling with excess weight all her life; Alyona − a young mother who loves her son, but really misses work; Katya − in love with a married man. According to the plot, the girls observe what is happening in the lives of their friends through Instagram, and begin to adjust their lives to what they see in the feed.

The main characters are five young girls who follow each other's lives on a social network. Veronica suffers from complexes due to excess weight, Ira is looking for true love, Olya is going through a crisis in family relations, Alyona is focused on creative realization, which is hindered by her husband, Dasha selflessly helps others, forgetting about herself. The desire to make their lives better leads them to the online marathon "Happiness is you!", which was launched by the psychology guru. But happiness is individual for each person, and universal advice does not always work.
