This winter is extraordinary; Moomintroll decides to stay awake to explore the winter instead of hibernating as usually. And winters are certainly totally different than he had imagined. Strangest creatures wander amidst the snowdrifts; midwinter darkness surrounds the Moominvalley, and on top of that, an eccentric guest is soon to appear. This guest requires many measures, and is called Christmas, Hemulen tells to a surprised Moomintroll.

What happens when you have it all?

A beautiful summer day in Moomin Valley. Suddenly, a wasp stings Moomintroll, who falls ill and has to stay in bed. To cheer him up, Moominpappa recounts his youthful adventures; his misunderstood childhood, escape from an orphanage and his historic meeting with the inventor Hodgkins.

While "playing" with coins on the railroad tracks, an accident occurs. As a result, Hare develops anxiety disorders manifested by tremors and panic attacks at the sight of a train. Wolf, concerned about what is happening to his friend Hare, decides to call a psychiatrist for help. When the painful injections administered by the doctor prove ineffective, Wolf decides to resort to unconventional remedies. He takes his friend on a journey on an old motorcycle - to the Chapel of St. Mary the Healer, to a quack working at a gas station, and to draw life energy from Ashram rituals. The film tells the story of a true, great friendship.

Fleeing from despair after losing those dearest to him, the hero hides in a safe land of memories, where time stands still and all those dear to him are alive.

The action of the film takes place during the magical time between Christmas and New Years. The turmoil of love brings the three sisters to the romantic Sopot, where, as part of family deliberations, they have to decide what to do with their romantic life. Though they begin their stay on the couch, Bridget Jones style, they need to quickly establish a plan of action as their guys have just arrived in town begging for a second chance. However, to regain the sisters' trust, they will have to atone for their sins and win their hearts again. Will they make it?

Six-year-old Junior is an exceptionally emotionally mature child. He expresses original, rather skeptical, existential thoughts. He has a dignified, masculine voice and loves to smoke cigarettes. In the cigarette smoke, he ponders his family and its psychological complexities. When his father, a famous pilot, crashes in China under unexplained circumstances and is accused of treason, Junior sets out on a journey to unravel the mystery of his mysterious disappearance. Written in the style of a crime novel, fairy tale, and magical realism, Junior's journey to Shanghai and the rocky Malacca Mountain triggers a series of questions about his famous father's secret life.
