Nagasaki, 1964: Following the death of his Yakuza father, 15-year-old Kikuo is taken under the wings of a famous Kabuki actor. Alongside Shunsuke, the actor’s only son, he decides to dedicate himself to this traditional form of theatre. For decades, the two young men grow and evolve together – and one will become the greatest Japanese master of the art of Kabuki.

Hoping for a settlement, Shigami instead finds contradictions between the two accounts and joins forces with Akiyama to uncover the truth. Their investigation leads to Tatsuya of Toraku Kids, and Shigami, his assistant Toda (Sho Aoyagi), and Akiyama rush to Miho’s captivity—only to face a tragic outcome.

In the last summer of my twenties, a drinking party for three women who have been close friends since college. The girls, who are unable to become adults due to the impasse of youth, recall the days when they were young when they could dream freely and take a new step forward.

"Takehiko Kanroji, notorious for a man of power harassment, an executive officer of the publishing company "Yudansha" has been transferred from Nagoya to the Tokyo head office. His mission is starting a magazine. However, the theme is ""sweets"" that Kanroji hates most. Even so, he tries to tackle the given work with all his heart, but his subordinates fed up with his overbearing attitude.

The storyline is basically the same as in the original work, although there are many parts where logic is omitted. The dialogue and narration have been reconfigured considerably, with some of the speakers being changed, but almost all of it is composed of words extracted from the original work. However, with the exception of Kindaichi, all the characters are played by women, the dialogue is almost barbed, and the clothing deviates slightly from what is appropriate to the situation, thus eliminating any sense of reality. The reason why Nanako's jumper and Washio's trousers were needed is not clear, as the murderer swims to Nanako's room in her clothes. In addition, Lieutenant Kamio's subordinate is simplified to only one detective, Aoki.

Tamon is an awkward 50-year-old rakugo comedian with no popularity, respect, or ambition. He struggles by, taking care of his father, who can no longer perform rakugo due to his steadily worsening dementia, and who does nothing but badmouths Tamon and calls him a disappointment. Kiko, a young female manzai comedian, ends up writing a skit based on one of Tamon's original stories she finds a recording of from her mother's cupboard. Kiko approaches Tamon initially for permission, then for advice. Tamon also reunites with his former girlfriend, Kiko's mother, and eventually ends up finding his passion in life and his art again.

He ends up losing him, but the guitar sound draws him to a small bar, Pier 34. Its owner, Snow, somehow reminds him of Dae-jung and listening to his music brings back memories. After passing out right there, Woozoo misses his flight back to Korea and then quits his job on a whim. He soon meets Haruna who learns guitar from Snow. And he decides to stay at Pier 34 till he finds Dae-jung.
