On October 25, 1917, construction of a new world began in Russia. One of the foremost workers in this construction was the writer Andrei Platonov. But a bright and fair future, his art and literature were seen by everyone in different ways. Its truth became impossible, and the new world was not built in the way it was conceived. Demanding millions of lives for its existence, a brighter future took the life of the writer’s son, who was arrested at the age of fifteen, and then Andrei Platonov himself. The film follows two student cinematographers who, as the war approaches Moscow, refuse to be evacuated and instead volunteer to be front-line cameramen capturing the horrors of war and heroism of the soviet soldiers. At the same time, we witness another storyline taking place in the US. After the premiere screening of the already completed documentary “Moscow Strikes Back”, one of the members of the Academy Awards selection committee is trying to persuade his fellow colleagues to establish a new category of Best Documentary in the upcoming Oscars event.

I'm Sorry, Anya

Yura, a traffic police officer disappointed in love, turns out to be an accidental guest of a wedding party at the dacha of Moscow creative youth. The happiness of the young couple and the atmosphere of the evening make him remember his own feelings.

Psychotronic

The average Moscow taxi driver starts suspecting that there is something wrong with his clients, who keep going about the city. Mysterious destinations, strange motions, hysterical laughter, puzzling placement of the black bundle. The protagonist is intrigued which leads to an unpleasant discovery. It turns out that the world has long been taken over by “psyons” – psychological operators controlling human mind.

The story of four Gnessin Academy students. Young and talented cellists have a new teacher who makes demands on them on a completely different level. A randomly filmed video of the four of them playing goes viral, and they form a quartet. Torn between their popularity and preparation for an international competition, the characters grow up, encountering the temptations of youth along the way.
