Since nurseries were opened up to the private sector in the early 2000s, early childhood has become a lucrative business for its voracious players. As scandals involving abuse and embezzlement of public funds multiply, we investigate the excesses of deregulation, which has turned babies into cash machines.

While Anglo-Saxon and Scandinavian countries have tackled school bullying for nearly thirty years, France only began addressing it in 2011. Affecting 10% of students, or 1.2 million children and teens, the issue remains underrecognized. In this documentary, young adults share their personal experiences of bullying, while grieving parents reveal the tragic consequences, hoping to awaken an indifferent society.

Since the #Metoo movement in 2017, rape complaints have doubled. Challenged, how does the justice system deal with this word? Thanks to exceptional authorization, director Marie Bonhommet was able to follow a trial at the criminal court in Nantes. Four years earlier, on a summer evening, two young men aged 18 and 22 had a sexual relationship. A rape, according to the plaintiff. Consensual intercourse, pleads the accused. In the absence of evidence and witnesses, it's word against word. How will the magistrates form their own convictions? Over the course of two days, five judges will listen to parents, relatives, investigators, experts and lawyers as they chart the course of two ordinary lives whose trajectories were turned upside down during an ordinary party.

Emma was born female. As a teenager, she wanted to transition, i.e., change her gender. At age 14, with her parents' support, she was admitted to a hospital unit specializing in transgender care. At age 15, she began hormone treatment. On the eve of her 17th birthday, she underwent a double mastectomy. Now 20, Emma is returning to her birth gender by forging her own path. At a time when countries that are pioneers in gender transition for minors are changing their care policies, this film attempts to shed a nuanced light on the subject.

It's a black number: the prostitution of minors. The main victims are young girls placed in children's welfare homes. Comme si j'étais mort recounts the sexual slavery suffered by three young women, and the struggle of educators to save them.

Cannabis has changed. Now more potent and addictive than ever, it bears little resemblance to what some were smoking twenty years ago. Yet teenagers are using it more and more, despite proven toxic effects on the brain. Loss of attention, and in some cases even IQ, school dropout, emotional isolation, and sometimes psychotic behavior — smoking weed has become a public health issue. Among young people, however, cannabis still has a positive image. It’s seen as less harmful than alcohol or cigarettes. French adolescents are the top consumers of cannabis in Europe.

Today in France, 100 to 300 000 children have at least one homosexual parent. Those we met are between 3 and 45 years old. They were born from a previous heterosexual union or they were adopted. Sometimes, their parents conceived them thanks to an anonymous sperm donation or by surrogate mother. They live in the city, in the suburbs or in the countryside and their parents are teachers, stewards or military. Children, teenagers, adults, they agreed to answer without pretense to the questions that are being debated today: Do the children of gays suffer in their evolution from the voluntary absence of a mother or a father? When they were conceived by a heterosexual couple, how do they live with the late coming out of one of their parents? How do they deal with the way society, school and friends look at them? How do they talk about their family? How do they construct their sexual identity and their sexuality? What kind of men and women do they become as adults?
