Following a booking error, two families who are complete opposites, as well as a somewhat snobbish publisher and the influencer he wants to publish, are forced to share a sublime vacation home. The culture clash is immediate, between incompatible habits and strong personalities. Yet, despite the tensions and misunderstandings, this forced vacation takes an unexpected turn and turns out to be an adventure full of surprises and laughter.

Jean and Otto, a French newspaperman and a young German Francophile, are fighting for peace in Europe. Corinne, meanwhile, finds herself thrown into the lion’s pit.

A theater director leads his two actors and his assistant to an isolated cottage in the open countryside in order to better rehearse for their theatrical performance of Heiner Müller's « Hamlet-machine ». Once on sight, the small troupe faces not only the dullness of daily routine, tensions and the usual hurdles of rehearsals, but eventually strange occurrences that turn out to be extraordinary and extreme in nature.

The two estranged brothers Emil and Magnus travel to Spain to bring home the body of their drunken and now dead father. What Emil doesn’t know is that Magnus has only agreed to go because of their father’s valuable Rolex watch which can save his bleeding finances. But when it turns out the transportation of the body will cost more than 10,000 Euro, Magnus convinces his reluctant little brother to run away with the body hidden in a roof box on top of a way too small rental car. Soon the two brothers find themselves on a wild escape from the police, and their father’s last trip forces them to face their own problems.

Driven by a fascination for violence, he gets entangled in far-right extremist groups, at the very opposite of his father’s values. Between them, there is love and hate, until tragedy happens.
