Kottayam Kunjachan, a small-time thug, gets out of jail after serving a term of seven years for killing a person. Once out, he tries to lead a good life but gets embroiled with a family feud.

Saramma and Johny are in love with each other and plan to get married. However, her father does not approve of the relationship.

Leelamma's wedding is thrown in jeopardy after her father loses the money he got after selling off his land. Paulose, an unemployed young man, finds the money and uses it for his own good.
