The film is a metaphor for the Cold War. It depicts two neighbouring nations: peace loving Fortuna and the not so peaceful land of the Steel City.

A little boy, named Prdelka, traveled with his father from Prague to the country during the Second World War. There, the boy became friends with a local fisherman and learned to catch the golden eels. Eventually, his father and mother were arrested by the Nazis and the boy stayed with the fisherman.

Wise and gentle humor that characterizes actor Jan Werich, is typical for his written work. Judge for yourself how the story progresses and clever village girl Zdenicka that not only invent scooter, but for her wit and will eventually become queen.

The water sprite Toníček fell in love with the beautiful and hard-working Andulka, but her father did not approve, so he sent her to Prague to work as a servant. Toníček did not give up and went to look for her. All the water sprites from Prague and the surrounding area helped him, but Andulka was nowhere to be found. Of course, she was eventually found, but it was not easy.

Based on an autobiographical novella by Ivan Olbracht, the film tells the story of Hanele Safarová, who grows up just after the First World War in a little Ruthenian schtetl which, in true Hassidic fashion, awaits the arrival of the Messiah. But Hanele decides to follow the Zionists instead. She moves to the city to prepare for her departure to the Promised Land, where she meets a successful businessman named Ivo Karadzic, who has renounced Judaism to become a free-thinker. Their love for each other doesn’t only drive Hanele’s parents to distraction, it also threatens to destroy the entire community in the schetl.

At first glance, this seems like a certain advantage, because if such a child is naughty, the parents simply won't wind them up. But when adolescence arrives and with it first love, it's not so simple. After all, Princess Marenka also had quite a few problems with her "peculiarity".

It takes place in a small town in southern Bohemia, where a perceptive adolescent boy experiences his first emotional enchantment and a deep crisis. Helimadoe are also the initial letters of the names of the five distinctive daughters of Hanzelín, a rough country doctor who not only treats a seriously ill boy, but also helps him overcome his painful emotional turmoil with his wisdom.

Based on the novel by French writer Jean Labord, who was a long-time court reporter for the Paris newspaper France-Soir, Jiří Hubač wrote a compelling story with a strong ethical message. The television film of the same name, directed by Zdeněk Zelenka, tells the story of the eternal fluctuation of justice between truth and its outward appearance. It focuses on a case of judicial error, the victim of which is a young nurse, Genevieve Leblanc. She is accused of giving a lethal injection to her lover, government advisor Dupré. In the court investigation, two prominent lawyers clash: Judge Gaudet, who gradually becomes convinced that the girl is innocent, and attorney Cassidis, who elegantly manipulates witnesses, facts, and words.

Lada is a little boy who likes to read fiction and has a great imagination. He figures out that his sister Eva's boyfriend is a vampire, and so he and his brother put him through various tests that, in effect, cause Eva and her boyfriend to break up for real.

But on the journey to find out who is who and what role she plays in the fairy tale, perhaps the most important role is played by Všudybyl, a young man who offers Jitka help and his heart at the right moment.

Three intrepid young men set off into an enchanted forest to free a captive girl. We can't reveal how their adventurous trip will turn out yet, but the names of the main characters in the fairy tale suggest that it will be a journey of joy rather than horror!

Princess Terezka was a girl like a pod until the moment when Mrs. Madam took over her upbringing. The princess even cries from her etiquette. Famous doctors and their potions do not help. However, when Terezka is secretly taken from the castle by her beloved Tonek to her parents in a country cottage, her illness is over. The king promises that whoever finds Terezka and brings her back to the castle will get her hand in marriage and half the kingdom to go with it.

In this difficult situation, she plays this role-game that helps her to deal with the sudden loss of her mother.

This little country is ruled by King Valentine and his wise wife. Or is it the other way around? But Hubert just can't seem to choose a wealthy princess, as his father would like. So, it seems to the royal parents that the future young queen is nowhere in sight. Neither of them suspects that Hubert has long since found his queen, the queen of his heart—the beautiful but poor Božidara from the farm. However, the two lovers keep their love a secret. They know that the king would never bless the marriage of a prince to a goat herder. Unless a miracle happened...

Set in a small-town hospital, the film tells the story of the great suffering of a small rascal, nicknamed “Lies and Steals“, who promises his little partner that he will bring St Nicholas - a traditional figure of Czech Advent - to the hospital room. He fails to keep this promise, his efforts being thwarted several times by the pedantic head nurse, who is called the Old Goat. In the course of the plot, the strained relationships between the three adults - the alcoholic Dr. Koníček, the head nurse and the young nurse Pipka - are revealed, all burdened with various resentments, false illusions and disappointed hopes. Despite all the conflicts, and as if by a miracle, there is a kind moment of extraordinary emotional understanding at the end, and Nicholas finally appears in the hospital.

Jiří's life is shaken up by a chance encounter with a young, attractive girl named Adéla, with whom he feels relaxed and rejuvenated, at least at first...
