The adventures of a young man who becomes a bandit due to circumstances beyond his control. He seeks revenge for the death of his father, a defenseless victim of a powerful landowner who terrorized farmers in rural Bahia in the early decades of the century.

Four boys, Eduardo, Rui, Júlio and Carlos meet in bars to plot scams and tricks. Among them is Teresa, with whom Rui is in love, even knowing about her pregnancy.
