In this show, the new Anubis residents find half of the hidden Symbol of the Celtic Wheel of Life with its five rings. From that moment on, everything will go differently than planned, and our friends will have to go to extremes.

New York, 1974: Joséphine, a French writer, interviews Thomas Edward. As the conversation progresses, she begins to suspect that he is actually Karl Hermann, a German soldier who assumed a new identity after the American landing. Karl’s life in Normandy and his passionate relationship with Martha, a French woman.

The five residents of the House of Anubis visit a museum, where Anastacia sees a torque, a Celtic piece of jewelry. When Anastacia doesn't get it off after fitting the torque, she asks her friends for help. When the five are all in contact with the torque they are flashed back in time and they end up in a battle between the ruler Balor and Ward the boy, who is destined to become a king.

Nienke is studying medicine and working at the hospital when Appie is suddenly brought into the emergency room. She discovers that he has been cursed by a Germanic Order. There is only one way to help him and that is to get The Club of the Old Willow back together. It will be a race against time to save Appie, but even more a battle for the old friendship. Can the lure of adventure bring The Club back together? Can the old residents put aside their own differences and disputes?

There is confusion when Appie returns to the House of Anubis with the promise of wealth, as stated in an invitation he received. Fabian and Amber also return to the now dilapidated house, just like Marcel, Pim, Raphael and Sterre (the five of the sword). The seven ex-residents lose all contact with the outside world. Before the day's end, the seven must solve one very last mystery.

The festive arrival of Sinterklaas is overshadowed by a huge problem: due to a large shortage of staff, the tradition threatens to disappear once and for all. Sinterklaas is desperate: where can he find new, good staff on such short notice? The youngest member of staff suggests they organize an audition in which everybody can show off their skills in order to become a member of staff; a so-called 'Piet'. Sem writes a letter to register for this audition immediately. If he can become a tough, strong 'Piet', his bullies will never harass him again. But what nobody knows is that Huibert Jan and his "Mammie" are trying to sabotage the audition with an evil scheme. Will Sem, Patty Pepernoot and 'Piet' Bennie successfully save the audition or is this the end of the festive and beloved Sinterklaas tradition?

Former Amsterdam police detective Floris Wolfs has been transferred to the police department of the south-Dutch country town Maastricht. His metropolitan experience nicely complements the local expertise of his new country colleagues, who know the folks. Slowly he fits in, while solving countless crimes together with his female partner Eva van Dongen.
