Newly discharged from the Israeli Army, Ra'ed, a Bedouin from an unrecognized village in the Negev desert, is determined to save his family's failing herd of sheep, about to be sold. He plans to live off the herd by starting a roadside Bedouin hospitality restaurant.

Shiri is 30 years old actress waiting for her big break, which doesn't seem to come because she looks too young. An unexpected opportunity comes when she is recruited by the police as a secret agent in a high-school where drugs are suspected to be distributed.

Dean, a young teen living with his mother and younger brother, prepares to turn in for the night when a knock on the door changes his life forever. Correctional officers storm into his room and haul him, barely clothed, out of the house.

Follows three generations of a matriarchal family dealing with curses and emotional trauma.
