Dreaming of an escape from the bleakness of their hometown, two teens form a unique bond at a local modeling school, where the promise of a better life pushes girls to violate their bodies in increasingly extreme ways.

Champion fighter Osvald is banned from competing after injuring a girl in a street fight. Stranded in his bleak Lithuanian hometown, he takes refuge in a run-down Taiwanese restaurant owned by his only friend, Ju-Long. Court-ordered therapy leads him to Skaistė, a woman who offers a glimpse of a life he's never known. But as Osvald clings to this fragile hope, his violent past resurfaces, forcing him to choose between redemption and self-destruction.

While, simultaneously appearing in the women's subconsciousness as a mysterious and charming lover, a father figure, a professor or a saint, illuminating her perception of men. Anima, as many archetypes, possess a duality which allows it to have both a positive and negative influence.

The images of contaminated ruins transform in the fire, light and shadow; the destruction of the industrial space consistently reveals how Cold War energy structures impact recent geopolitical processes and leave planetary threats over long periods of time. The project takes a geological approach – it reads things that compose this flat landscape as a stack of stratigraphic layers. The man­made space is understood as a sedimentary process and the infrastructures, as well as the mineral resources, are assessed as the key parameters defining a development of the project.

A time when humanity as a whole refuses to common perception. The time when God is dead, and the man left to his own fate, dies hard, and looks for answers. The way man should go to his unique vision of the world is based on the testing method, how many of his explorations he can afford. If you go too far, you won’t come back. This is the price paid by an individual trying to investigate the limits of body and mind whims. Here comes the clash between the body and mind, between the individual and society, between morality and what is not compatible with it, after all, and between life and death.
