Heino Pars (October 13, 1925, Mustla, Viljandi County – October 8, 2014 Tallinn) was an Estonian animated film director. With Elbert Tuganov, he is the founder of Estonian puppetry animation. In 2001 he was awarded with Order of the White Star, V class.

Based on Leida Tigane's fairy tale "The Crow cooks pea soup". The crow found a pea and wanted to cook soup. But one pea is not enough for that. The woodpecker advised her to plant a pea in the ground so that more of them would grow. The crow planted, and then began to boil water in a cauldron, waiting for the pea harvest to arrive soon. Various animals began to gather here, who also wanted to try the pea soup.
