Helmut has been working as a private investigator in San José for almost ten years. Boliche tells the story of Anna, an eight-year-old girl from a rural Ibizan family who wins a porc negre in a local race. Anna becomes attached to the animal and names him Boliche, who soon becomes her loyal companion and best friend. What Anna doesn’t realize is that her family and neighbors are preparing for the traditional matançes festival. From that moment on, Anna will do whatever it takes to save Boliche.

Their living as modern pariahs shows their fight for survivance, and questions the country’s conservationist fame.
