The stifling existence of suburban Norway forces a twelve-year-old boy to spend his afternoons plundering rubbish bins, in search of something specific, something that might actually lead to a reward for him and his family.

Painful childhood memories make the brothers Armas’ and Yrjö’s already sore relationship volatile. A minor misunderstanding sends them into an uncontrollable spiral of vengeance with comic twists yet tragic consequences.

Temporarily homeless Jarna is in the deepest trouble of his life. Debtors have come to collect old drug debts and Jarna is given 24 hours to pay up, setting off a frantic, amphetamine fueled battle against time.
