Towards the end of the 1940s, in the midst of the struggle against Spanish colonialism, in the village of Aouchtam, lived the family of El Hadj, an old man suffering from blindness. The film tells the story of a maid who is the only witness to a murder involving the son of a former minister. She hesitates a lot before informing the police of the crime, and from here begins the threat and problems.

In 1999, in the old medina of Casablanca in Morocco, a young man Malek fascinated by the lute, decides to move in with his uncle Amir. “Rahal” immigrated to Europe forty years ago. Scandalized by the behavior of his eldest son who participated in a heist, he decides to return to Morocco for good. In his native country, “Rahal” intends to take matters into his own hands. Events take another detour.
