When their only child, Jody, is killed in a car accident, Michael and Allison, face an uncertain future. Michael appears to be coping but Allison is so severely traumatized that she is convinced that their daughter is still alive. She wakes Michael in the night to comfort Jody who's just had a nightmare; she make him take breakfast up to the girl's room every morning. Allison's psychiatrist Dr. Turner recommends a full-time, live-in therapist... with disastrous consequences!

A man and a woman, live inside an ancient mechanism for predicting the weather. Who knows how long they have been there? It is difficult to have a relationship as each is thrust out the front of the building according to the weather and even their shadows are trapped there.
