One day, Dr. Kamil realizes that his wallet has been stolen. He suspects Sevim, a woman he met the night before. He goes to the police to find out more about Sevim. He learns that Sevim has committed theft and fraud and that her ex-husband is in prison for similar crimes. He goes to Sevim's house, and an argument ensues between them. Sevim explains that she resorted to this path to educate her daughter Oya. Dr. Kamil finds Oya's school tuition payments and tries to dissuade Sevim from her actions. Meanwhile, Sevim's ex-husband Sadri escapes from prison and attempts to kidnap their daughter Oya. Upon learning this, Dr. Kamil will try to rescue Sevim from Sadri.

Sema, who has been away from home for a long time, returns to the mansion for the reading of her father's will after his death. Samiş, the son of the deceased man's first wife, his wife, his daughter Sema, the servants, and his mother Zübeyde all live together in the mansion. Sami is a sickly and ill-tempered man who suffers from epilepsy and has occasional seizures. After the will is read, it becomes clear that all of his property will go to his wife Zübeyde and daughter Sema, but if they are no longer alive, the inheritance will go to his son Sami from his first wife. And from there, the events unfold.

The film is about a family that was torn apart by an earthquake and reunites. Metin is a journalist who is tracking down a legacy document. With Serçe Zeki as his guide, he travels all over Anatolia to find the document. Azize is a blind girl with a beautiful voice. She joins a traveling troupe to escape the abuse of her alcoholic stepfather. She joins this troupe on their Anatolian tour. Boncuk Ayşe is a mother who lost her children in the great earthquake and travels from city to city searching for them by selling trinkets. These people, who set out for various cities in Anatolia, occasionally cross paths. In one of these encounters, a murder committed by someone tracking their trail will unravel the web of relationships.

Cevat cannot make ends meet with the allowance he receives from his father, Hamit Bey. So he earns money by committing fraud. He also has relationships with various women. He falls in love with one of these women, Gülay, and wants to marry her. However, Gülay owes Hamit Bey a large amount of money. Cevat will try to convince his father so that he can marry Gülay.
