Aleksandra is a student from Krško, a small town in Slovenia. She has a plan to conquer the world. Working as a prostitute, her life is heading to where she wants it, but an accidental death has her wrestling with new feelings of fear, loneliness, confusion and responsibility

Milan Veber, a 40-year-old unemployed art teacher, has long been jobless and close to penniless. He lives in a cheap small studio that he rents in what used to be a lively working-class neighbourhood of an industrial city, feeling too young to grow old and too old to start over – until one morning after a night of drinking. Just when he is about to open a can of beef stew, he looks through the window and sees a bull in the street. A bull that has just escaped from the slaughterhouse.

A woman in her thirties who wanted more of life jumps into an extramarital affair, only to lose her husband, her job, and finally her lover as well. However, she thinks she should start anew and have fun no matter the consequences.

A saleswoman hears her colleague scream as a masked robber threatens her with a knife. She calls the police and seeks help from passersby. A little later, 13-year-old Edi and his four friends watch social media videos of the robbery, while neighborhood dealer Anel arrives with weed. Teenagers are on edge; they know that Anel's mother works at the robbed store. At first, Anel is utterly unaware of what’s happening, but it doesn’t take long for his mother to call him, blaming him for the possibility that it was his friends that might have committed the robbery. Feeling unjustly treated despite his innocence, Anel is very upset and turns to drinking, which escalates into a fiery clash with Edi. In a moment of chaos, Anel stumbles and crashes to the floor. The others help him to bed. Edi remains by his side, grappling with the weight of his foolish action.

A 17-year-old female teenager with zero sexual experience gets pregnant with her equally inexperienced peer, which creates lots of trouble for parents who prove to be no less childish when comes to problem-solving.

Slovenia, Australia and Tomorrow the World is a drama film with elements of comedy. The central character Boris works as a machinery maintenance man in a factory, hoping that his work and efforts will be awarded in the future. And indeed, he is given an opportunity by Cosmica, a company providing door-to-door sales and counselling services as well as investment in securities.

Caught amid a violent corruption affair, a young woman is forced to make an impossible choice between the man she obsessively loves and her newborn son.
